Go to Taichung !

It's my first time to go to Taichung with my classmates.Unfortunately,it's rainy and cold,we were a little depressed. As soon as everyone got on the sightseeing bus, they just slept or watched the boring DVD.Some of my classmates wanted to sing songs to everybody so that they could make the atmosphere more happy!!Just as expected, most of them had much fun. Otherwised,it's a sunny day in Taichung!!

I didn't know that Taipei isn't far from Taichung until we had this trip. It only took us one and half an hour take a sightseeing bus.Eventually,we strolled along the main streets in Taichung.I think it's a fantastic city.First,we determined that we should eat lunch before going to the National Museum Of Natural Science. Then,we ate delicious spaghetti and yummy pudding.(It's so cheap!)

In the afternoon,we start our real journey. We visited many exhibitions in couples of hours, such as Science Center,Life Science,Human Cultures,Global Environment, and Botanical Garden.I have fun visiting the museum. Moreover,I learned something else that i didn't know before.I think that I will come to here someday, because we didn't have much time realizing them too much.

RENT

I have heard about this movie(opera) for a while. But there isn't an opportunity for me to realize it. I didn't see RENT until last Tuseday. Also,I was touched beyond words and songs.

Rent is a rock musical. The musical tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Alphabet City in the thriving days of the Bohemian East Village, under the shadow of AIDS.it's an emotionally stirring story. The show's songs incorporate dance, pop, salsa, R&B and rock 'n roll.

Seasons of Love is the most celebrated song from Rent, actually I do love it very much. It's a string of wonderful melody to me.

Seasons of Love

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure in a year?
In daylight-in sunsets
In midnight-in cups of coffee
In inches-in miles
In laughter-in strife
In five hundred twenty-five thoudand six hundred minutes
How do you measure A year of life?
How about love?
Measure in love..... Season of love.....

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure the live of a woman or a man?
In truth that she learned or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned or the way that she died

It's time now to sing out
Though the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friend
Remember the love measure in love Seasons of love....
In diapers-report cards
In sports wheel-in speeding tickets
In contracts-dollars
In funerals-in births
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you figure a last year on earth?
Remember the love.....Seasons of love....

I think that I will remember LOVE and this moving song forever : ]
There is no future and past. But we should live this precious moment! In other words,"NO DAY BUT TODAY!" Love is actually all around us.That's why we can overcome obstacles with our willpower.

Amélie is a 2001 French film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou. Its original French title is Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain ("The Fabulous Life of Amélie Poulain"; poulain is French for foal). Written by Jeunet with Guillaume Laurant, the film is a whimsical and somewhat idealised depiction of contemporary Parisian life, set in Montmartre. It tells the story of a painfully shy waitress who decides to change the lives of those around her for the better, while struggling with her own isolation.

"Amelie" is a stunning film that is rich with imagination. It's impressed me about its special style. Amelie is a young waitress living in Paris. She never received much physical attention from her parents. Because her parents thought she had a heart defect. She was homeschooled and never had friends. She turned inward and developed a vivid imagination that she made part of her reality. When she is an adult, she still see's the world as a child might. And yet Amelie does not know how to reach out and relate to others, she feels more like an observer.

At the end, I felt true love between Amelie and Nino : D
it's sweet and honest.

Mayday

Mayday,is a Taiwanese rock band that originated in the late 1990s,but has since become one of the biggest rock bands to hit Taiwanese pop culture. As one of Taiwan's million-selling rock artists, they have received a range of accolades as well as moving records all over the world.

They are locally regarded as the best rock band after Beyond, a popular rock band that is based in Hong Kong.[citation needed] Mayday's songs resonate greatly with many Taiwanese youths who can identify with their themes of love, world peace and growing up. They are also influenced by The Beatles, which is their favourite group whom they aspire to be like.

"Embrace" is one of my favorite songs.I have heard it more than one hundred times!!
I like its melody and lyrics.Even though it's a sad song,I sometimes listen it when i am upset.
Embrace

Take off the long day’s mask, race toward the boundaries of fantasy
The pumpkin coach at midnight, put on the glass slippers of fairy tales
Let me enjoy this feeling, I’m a proud and lonely rose
Let me taste this flavor, what the chaotic world doesn’t understand

Yesterday is too close, tomorrow is too far, silently, reverently listening to the black night
The night wind kisses all the lotus blossom leaves, letting me fall, intoxicated, beside the pond
Waiting for you to see my beauty clearly, the moonlight dries all tears away
That one person… love me, take my hand… hold it

Concealing my own exhaustion, expressing my own awkwardness,
Releasing my own wildness, searching for my own tomorrow
I request from you a promise, even if you lie to me,
I need the consolation of love, even if that love like water might wash away
